Robert
was born in 1955, in Breda, Holland.
He studied both architecture and engineering in Delft, Holland, and
later studied art and architecture at the Beaux Arts in Paris.
He started his European studio in 1980, and relocated to the USA in
1985.
Robert
has a fast, powerful, well-managed visionary imagination. He can focus on
a complex set of issues and fire off rapid strands of associative thinking
that emerge in drawings and ultimately evolve in the ‘Architectural
Concept’.
Robert's
focus has always been on the ‘Art of Architecture’, in understanding
how space can affect the human emotion.
